Company History
In 1942, Cavallo Bus Lines, Inc. of Gillespie, IL was started by a father with 2 buses. The company remains family owned, but has grown to 102 coaches and 3 locations.

Our mission is to provide personalized service, quality products, and innovative passenger transportation solutions, delivered by the finest transportation professionals in our country. We use our experience to enhance our customers’ experience. Our customers are people, communities, and businesses whose transportation experience is impacted by the service we provide. Our customers are our colleagues working with us to provide the ultimate transportation experience.
The Cavallo Difference
We have the newest fleet in the Midwest. We carry $10,000,000 in liability insurance – twice the required amount by law. Our drivers go through an intensive training program to ensure safety and superior customer service. Our goal is to “meet and exceed” your expectations.
Quality Assurance
Maintenance on Cavallo motor coaches is among the highest in the industry. Our out-of-service rate is 3.1 percent; the national average for our industry is eight times higher: 25.4 percent. We maintain this outstanding record while operating more than 100 coaches nationwide and logging more than three million miles per year.
